Southlake Support Shoes Generate Thousands for Southlake Hospital!
Nature’s Customers display incredible good-will, donating thousands of dollars in just two weeks toward priority fundraising initiatives for the Southlake Hospital!
This year, we once again reached out to you in-store and asked for help raising funds for the Southlake Foundation during the lead up to the 2014 Run or Walk for Southlake Regional Health Centre, presented by Nature’s Emporium. The run, which took place on April 27th, was a huge success – and, thanks to your generosity and good-will, so too was the in-store fundraising drive!
Over a period of just two weeks, you and many others donated $3330.00 through our “Southlake Support Shoe” initiative – event more than last year’s impressive fundraising total.
We were also blown away by the support demonstrated by our Vaughan customers, who contributed over $1000 toward that total – a recognition of the reach of Southlake and their widely recognized excellence.
As if that wasn’t enough, you also contributed – at last count – $2020.00 in pledges toward the Nature’s Emporium run team, enough to propel us into the top 5 teams; a tremendous honour for us all.
We can’t thank you enough for your generosity and community spirit. Together, we’ve made a huge contribution to the future of health care in our community, and your donations will help bring the gift of life to thousands of local patients and their families.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: we’re so proud to share this community with so many wonderful individuals like you. We truly believe that this is the best community in the world, and are continually humbled by the good deeds you share with us.
