Featured Recipe: Chocolate Hazelnut & Fruit Pizza (Dairy Free)
A dessert pizza that combines the familiar flavors of hazelnut chocolate with nutrient packed ingredients that your kids can get creative with!
Servings: 8 Slices
Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 Nature’s Spelt Pizza Crust (440g)
Chocolate Hazelnut Spread:
- 1 Jar Organic Traditions Hazelnut Butter (180g)
- 0.25 Cup “GiddyYoyo” Raw Organic Cacao Powder
- 0.25 Cup “Canadian Heritage Organics” Maple Syrup
- 0.25 Cup "Almond Breeze" Almond Milk (Unsweetened)
- 0.25 tsp "Organic Traditions" Vanilla Bean Powder
- Pinch of Sea Salt
Toppings:
- 6 Organic Strawberries (Sliced)
- 1 Fresh Organic, Fairtrade Banana (Sliced)
- 0.5 Cup Organic Raspberries (Whole)
- 2 tbsp Organic Shaved Coconut
- 1 tbsp Organic Chia Seeds
- 0.25 Cup Vegan Gummy Bears
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450F
- Stretch out your dough onto an oiled, parchment lined pizza pan/baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust has fully baked.
- In a high speed blender with a tamper (or food processor), combine all of the chocolate hazelnut spread ingredients until smooth.
- Cover the pizza dough with all of the hazelnut spread evenly and decorate with your toppings to your taste.
- Slice into 8 or more pieces and enjoy!
