Featured Recipe: Salted Caramel Mocha Mousse (Dairy Free, Vegan)
Airy, decadent and sophisticated. You won’t be able to stop at just one spoon-full of this dairy free, vegan mousse!

Ingredients
Mousse
- 1 Can “Thai Kitchen” Organic Coconut Milk (400mL)
- 1 tbsp “Flavorganics” Coffee Extract
- 1 tbsp “Native” Freeze Dried Coffee
- 2 Cups Chocolate Chips (Melted)
- 1 tsp "Simply Organic" Vanilla Extract
- 0.25 Cup “Canadian Heritage Organics” Maple Syrup
- 1 Cup So Delicious” Cocowhip“
Salted "Caramel"
- 2 “Natural Delights” Organic Medjool Dates
- 1 tbsp “Canadian Heritage” Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp “Maison D’Orphee Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- 1 tbsp “Natura” Unsweetened Almond Milk
- Pinch of Sea Salt
Toppings
- So Delicious” Cocowhip“
- Salted “Caramel”
Instructions
- In a double boiler, melt your chocolate chips.
- In a large bowl whisk together all of the “Mousse” ingredients and add the melted chocolate.
- Pour into serving cups, cover and refrigerate for 4-6 hours (Ideally overnight).
- In a high speed blender, combine all of the salted caramel ingredients and transfer into a piping bag or squeeze bottle.
- Once fully firm, top your mousse with cocowhip and a salted caramel drizzle.
