Giving Back: A Recap of our Recent Community Efforts
Giving Back to the Communities that have Given us So Much.
We’ve been committed to giving back since we first opened our doors 25 years ago, and we’re proud to continue that tradition today in new and exciting ways.
This past month, we’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing organizations, including both the newly opened Margaret Bahen Hospice, as well as 360° Kids, who is working hard to end youth homelessness here in the York Region and beyond.
The Margaret Bahen Hospice: Supporting a Better Quality of Life for our Community
The Margaret Bahen Hospice for York Region provides 24 hour palliative care services to individuals with life-limiting illness in a beautiful, home-like environment.
Located in Newmarket, it offer 10 private suites where residents and their families can stay in the final stage of their life – without cost to the resident. The services they provide are priceless for those enduring truly difficult times.
We were proud to share a gift of essential oil diffusers for each room with Sonya Murray and Deborah Kesheshian from the Margaret Bahen Hospice, in collaboration with our product partners, including Puresource, Divine Essence and M² Brand Management.

360° Kids: Working Hard to End Youth Homelessness in Our Community
Since 2013, 360° Kids has worked to help youth overcome crisis, providing the services and support they need to transition to a state of safety and stability throughout the York Region and beyond.
We’ve partnered with them for a number of in-store initiatives, including their annual “Raising the Roof” Toque sale.
Mary D’Addario, Director of Philanthropy at Nature’s Emporium, recently stopped by Nature’s Emporium Vaughan to present a cheque to Andrew Cairns from 360° Kids.
We’re proud to support this amazing organization in their effort to end youth homelessness here in the York Region and beyond. Thank you to all of our customers for your generous contributions during our recent in-store campaigns!

Looking Ahead: the 2018 Run or Walk for Southlake, Presented by Nature’s Emporium
Over the next several weeks, we’ll be hard at work preparing for the 2018 Run for Southlake, Presented by Nature’s Emporium, which returns on Sunday, April 29.
The Run or Walk for Southlake, presented by Nature’s Emporium is an extraordinary event that takes place every spring, generating vital funds for Southlake Regional Health Centre. It offers an exceptional opportunity for our family to say “thank you” to the hospital that has touched all of us in meaningful ways – from safely bringing new life into the world, to caring for family members in their time of need.
The funds raised during the event – over $1,000,000 NET to date – ensure that our community’s hospital has the right equipment, technology and services to be there for us all when we need it most.

We’ll also be collecting donations in-store at Nature’s Emporium Newmarket in the near future. 100% of the donations collected during this campaign will be donated directly to the Run for Southlake. We’ll have more details regarding this initiative coming soon, so stay tuned.
